Krakow was certainly a personal experience that caused distaste, but I can't get it out of my mouth now. I had been traveling for too long and was done with the gimmicks. By the time I reached Krakow, I had reached a boiling point and everything seemed like a gimmick.

There are too many people who say it's a special place for me to hold such a grudge, but still :(

I enjoyed Sofia -- not nearly as much as Budapest. The people seemed a little grumpy there. Nobody smiling on the streets. But my experiences when interacting with locals was sweet.
