I would tend to agree. The complexity of getting into DeFi is one of its only barriers to mass adoption. However, we are getting closer by the day. I, for one, am very excited about the potential for Anchor in the Terra network. That protocol is what I intended this article to be about but changed my mind midway through. It still has to prove itself a little more -- like all DeFi technology, in my eyes.
