Georgina -- I spent four months on Gili Trawangan at the end of 2020. I'm not sure when you were there, but locals tell me that my experience was loads different than the masses. I must have been one of 50 tourists on the island the whole time. There were no dance clubs open. Even few restaurants. It was peaceful, though.
